After collecting the data of the type of hydrant the height was then measured with a tape measure from the ground to the top of the hydrant.
This application can help by determining location of a hydrant, if it is a wet or dry barrel, which determines its vulnerability of freezing or not and the height of the hydrant, which plays a role with snow building up around it.
